Hello! I currently serve as the Dean of the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Georgian College. With nearly 20 years of experience in higher education as a former full-time Liberal Arts and Sciences professor and program coordinator, I am a dynamic and visionary leader. I am committed to fostering excellence in higher education, faculty development, and educational technology.

I excel at nurturing faculty competencies and am dedicated to advancing innovative teaching practices while promoting a culture of continuous learning. I am proficient in leveraging digital tools and data analytics to enhance educational outcomes, and I have extensive experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, strategic planning, and change management. I passionately advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia and actively contribute to the broader educational community.

I lead an exceptional team that manages resources, opportunities, and support for faculty development and professional learning. Our efforts include assisting faculty with learning and educational technologies, overseeing our Learning Management System, and developing and reviewing pathways for creating courses across hybrid, flexible, and online modalities. We also offer professional development opportunities for both full-time and part-time faculty and engage in VR/AR projects.

Our Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) inspires excellence by fostering curiosity, connecting communities, and promoting innovation at the forefront of teaching and learning. I take great pride in leading and contributing to this vision.

My Vision - To foster a collaborative and inclusive space focused on lifelong, peer-supported, personalized learning and development, leveraging technology immersion, utilizing evidence-informed practices, and supporting the creation of modular, humanized, authentic curriculum experiences.
